One of most amazing camping and trekking locations of Mumbai, has now opened up for treks and camping. During monsoon this place was banned sighting safety due to alarming water levels. Its surrounding mountains and the two and half hour trek to the mesmerising Devkund fall promises you most scenic views. This is gonna be one of your most exciting treks this season. Swimming in the fresh water pond takes away all your tiredness and rejuvenates you. Be prepared to take a dip !
Meet us at Swaminarayan temple outside Dadar station, east at 05:45 am
Start bus journey to Bhira by 06:00 am

10:45 am: Start trek
01:00 pm: Reach devkund waterfall and chillout.
01:45 pm: Have tummy filling session, photography and lot of Mischief
03:00 pm: Start trekking back to the base village
04:45 pm: Lunch
05:30 pm: Start return journey
09:00 pm: Tentatively reach Mumbai (depending on traffic)

Things to carry :
- Identity proof
- Good trekking shoes and extra pair of floaters
- Torch with extra batteries (compulsory)
- Extra pair of clothes
- Water (minimum 2 ltrs) Compulsory
- Lunch or ready to eat food during the trek.
- Some ready to eat food like biscuits, plum cake etc.
- Medicines (if you need any), Glucon D / Electrol / Enerzyl Powder (We will have a basic first aid kit with us)
- Toiletries, Cap / Scarves and Sunglasses
- Rain gear windcheater / raincoat / poncho
- Haversack to put all your things
- Wear full clothes and do not use deodorant or perfume.
- Do not carry - Jholas / sling bag / Trolley bag (This is a trek, not picnic)
- Avoid wearing jewelry.
- Consumption of alcohol or any narcotic substance is strictly prohibited.
- It may rain, please pack your belongings accordingly. Cover your bags with rain cover.
Points to Note and FAQ's
Q: I have booked/paid for the event, is my booking confirmed ?
Ans. No ! , your booking can become invalid if you do not submit the "Most Important Details" required for emergency situations. For any Trek/Adventure event the organizers need to have your details atleast 24 hours prior to the event. We do not allow anyone to campsite until we have complete and authentic details of the person. This info is crucial in case of emergency, and is a mandatory KYC parameter. The link for the "personal details form" will be sent along the ticket confirmation email. Submitting incomplete/incorrect/fake details in the form will make your booking invalid and no refund will be provided in such case.
Q. We are coming by our own vehicle for the event, where should we reach ?
Ans. Meet us at "Bhira Petrol Pump". We will be providing the exact map location of the meeting point on Whatsapp group which will be created 24 hrs prior to the event date.
Q. How do we get in touch after reaching meeting point ?
Ans. We will be creating a whatsapp group for coordination where you will be provided all the necessary information regarding contact person, exact point to meet etc..
Q. How many people will be at the coming for this trek ?
Ans. Depends on number of people booking the event. Generally the batch size is approximately 25 participants.
Q. Is it safe for solo participants?
Ans. Yes, mostly 30% of participants come up solo and blend in.
Q. Is it safe for girls?
Ans. Mischief Treks has a track record of making our trekking and camping events extremely safe for girls. Normally 60 – 75 % of our participants are females.
Q. How long is the trek ?
Ans. Normally it takes two hours to ascend and two hours to descend.
Q. Can we pay in cash or installment or on spot ?
Ans. Sorry we do not accept cash payments. For installment scheme you will have to pay one-time processing fee of Rs.500 per person. On spot payment not possible because the booking process closes 24 hours prior to the event date and we have limited tickets available.
Q. What is the last date of booking ?
Ans. Bookings close once tickets are sold out. Ideally you need to book atleast 2-3 days in advance. If the tickets get sold out 7 days in advance, the booking process closes 7days in advance too.
Q. Why is submitting emergency contact details and KYC information mandatory?
Ans. Its a standard protocol and also a guideline by Govt of India. We are accountable for every "Human-Body" present at our campsite or trek is our responsibility and in case of any unfortunate event we will be asked by authorities to provide all relevant information about you. In order to comply with the authorities we have to take authentic information from you. Fake/Incomplete information or non-submission of the details will make your ticket (paid amount) invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. You will not be allowed to participate in the event.
Q. How should I book the event ?

Q. What will be exact pickup and returning time ?
Ans. The Itinerary is for reference purpose only, it is based on average time taken during our previous events. Actual timeline for a particular date depends on Weather conditions, Traffic Conditions, Participants speed and endurance, Participants cooperation, Etc. The Bus hired by us is just like OLA/Uber hired by you, the vehicle can breakdown or the driver can be lazy. This is not in our control and we all (participants and organizers) as a team have to bare with unforeseen situations.
90% will be refunded if cancelled 15 days (360+ hrs) in advance.
75% will be refunded if cancelled 10 days (240+ hrs) in advance.
50% will be refunded if cancelled 05 days (120+ hrs) in advance.
25% will be refunded if cancelled 03 days ( 72+ hrs) in advance.
0% refund if cancelled in less than 72 hours of the event date and time
Disclaimer : The participants who wish to reach the event starting point in their own vehicle have to reach the meeting point at given time, post that organisers may go out of network range and wont be able to assist. In such situation the organiser shall not be liable for any inconvenience what-so-ever and the participants will be considered as dropouts against which no refund will be made. The organiser reserves the right to make necessary change in itinerary at any time before or during the event based on situation at hand. Trek leaders decision will be final and binding, no arguments will be entertained. During the event if any participant or group does not follow safety instructions and indulges in acts that lead to physical harm, or gets lost in the forest / mountain the organisers will not be held liable for it. Tickets can be cancelled 7 days prior to the event and 90% amount will be refunded. No refund will be made in case a person misses the train/bus mentioned in the itinerary. All participants are deemed to be physically fit for the event. In case a participant decides to dropout during the event he/she has to bear the extra cost of arranging his/her return. This cost will be charged at-actual-basis. If the event gets cancelled due to natural calamities, rains, landslide, snowfall, avalanche only 50% refund will be made. Stay options mentioned in the itinerary are subject to natural conditions i.e tents cant be pitched if rains and/or rain storm is being predicted. In such cases an attempt will me made to provide shelter for the night. Food during the trekking and camping events is sourced locally from villages and we put in our best efforts to provide the best, participants should acknowledge the fact that remote village people are not trained for catering services and our expectations should be accommodating. MischiefTreks has a reputation of providing memorable experience for trekkers and adventure lovers our events are not deigned for tourists or fussy people. Trekking and camping belong to Adventure Sports industry where the participants are part of a "team", there are no waiters, caterers, guests/clients.
